Only The Best Ingredients

Pasta Heaven only uses the best ingredients. Our sauce is made with only the ripest tomatoes grown in California, and our ravioli stuffed with Polly-O ricotta cheese made in New York.

Meet Alex, Owner

It was September, 1992 when Alex made the decision to open a homemade pasta shop.  He had been working part-time at another restaurant, but his parents, Joseph and Philomena Inglese, were recently retired and willing to play a vital role in helping Alex with his dream.

The first step was flying to Rome, Italy with his wife, Patricia, to purchase new pasta-making machines.

Bringing the Vision to Life

Pasta Heaven opened on November 2, 1992 as a small, local fresh pasta store. At that time, Alex only served take-out orders and did some catering. He eventually began selling his home-made pasta and sauce to local specialty grocery stores in CT, and became a very popular fundraiser for local schools and organizations.

The restaurant truly embodied the essence of a family business. His dad would often start off his days buying fresh vegetables and meats, whistling away while he chopped and prepared them in the back room. Alex’s mother would wait on customers with a smile, always ducking back into the kitchen to give instructions on how to cook fresh pasta and bake lasagna.

In April, 2009, Alex had a pizza oven installed and expanded his store into the thriving restaurant that it is today. Judy and Ed DeLuca, Alex’s sister and brother-in-law, have recently collaborated with Alex and his wife to add a food truck to the business: Pasta Heaven 2 Go. They park it at festivals, wineries, breweries, and private parties.
